What’s wrong with your dog?

We get asked a lot of questions about Trimble and Twitch. We don’t mind one bit. It gives us the opportunity to tell people all about them and special needs dogs. We love educating everyone about Cerebellar Hypoplasia and what it means to be a service human. We want to advocate for every creature both animal and human that struggles in this world. We want to be there for every animal or human for acceptance in this strange society we live in. We just want to be there.
I was asked the other day why are we seeing so many dogs with Cerebellar Hypoplasia these days. The reason is a good one. People are realizing a very important thing.
THEY ARE NOT THROWAWAYS!!!
They- not unlike humans- are meant to live. They may wiggle- like a person with Cerebral Palsy. They may fall-like a person with muscular distrophy. They may need extra help- LIKE ANY PERSON WITH A DISABILITY!
But…
They are still full of life, full of joy, full of love. They – not unlike humans- live a relatively normal life! They -not unlike humans with disabilities- are JUST LIKE REGULAR DOGS!
So… when I am asked what it wrong with Trimble & Twitch, my reply will always be- nothing. Absolutely nothing is wrong with them, but there is a whole lot of what is right with them. They are amazingly happy, amazingly strong, amazingly brave, and amazingly loving. Every single person on this little rock in our universe could learn a lesson. Perfect, whole, complete does not equivocate to ok-ness. It is what is within you, what fires you up, your soul, your spirit, your heart- that makes you so beautifully imperfectly perfect.
Remember that!
….and stop asking what is wrong with my dogs….cuz we gonna have a little talk about that!

Thank you for explaining this, my 3 dogs have the same thing and people say whats wrong with your dog, and i always say the same thing you do. They are just like any other do and even better to me. When they were born the people at the vet were going to put them down, but i told them no they deserve a chance in life as any other dog.

I follow you guys on Tik Tok and I was guilty of thinking ‘Aw poor puppers!’ now after reading this i just want to say thanks for educating me on Cerebellar Hypoplasia. These are probably two of the cutest pups on Tik Tok and I hope that you could enlighten more people as you did with me! ??

I just wanted to say they are absolutely adorable.i did I have one question what made you dicide in ther names. I love love there names it’s definitely unique.
You’re so right. Nothing is wrong with them. They’re just different, like everyone else in this world. It’s no reason to treat them differently, but maybe with a little extra care and help. I know how you feel. I have 2 little brothers with autism. It might not be a physical disability that they have but it’s mental. Very similar. Nothing is wrong with them. Just like your dogs, they may need a little more help than other people, but they’re still human. Still meant to be in this world. It may be a struggle at times, but it’s totally worth it!!! Wishing Twitch and Trimble the best!!
They’re adorable and inspirational. I love the be intentional model and I aspire and am doing my best to live by that model always.

I see them on tiktok and I’m new there I don’t comment I just look thru and I ran up on your videos… You are the most amazing people to take care of them…. THANK YOU!!!!
